This place is a hidden gem! The hospitality of the owners was outstanding, from arranging transportation to helping us with local SIM cards. The canyon tour was an absolute blast, and the meals were delicious. We loved being surrounded by nature and animals on their beautiful property.
That there was no wifi, but honestly, it was kind of refreshing to disconnect for a while. Also, bugs would come into the room at night if we left the light on, but thankfully they had mosquito nets.

I recently stayed at La Ceibita Tours Guest House and had an amazing experience. The staff picked me up from the border and greeted me with a delicious dinner upon arrival. The next day, I went on a fascinating trip to the Canyon, guided by a knowledgeable local named Anselmo. The farm itself was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature. The hosts, Francisco and his family, were incredibly attentive and welcoming. I even had the opportunity to learn about traditional Nicaraguan cooking from Yorlin, Francisco's wife. it was a unique and immersive stay with a lovely local family.
I can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like about La Ceibita Tours Guest House. 😊

the location next to the canyon was simply amazing, offering breathtaking views. We were surrounded by a variety of animals, including adorable puppies, colorful parrots, and gentle cows and horses. the best part was the food - three delicious meals a day with vegan and vegetarian options available. the host, Francisco, was exceptional. He not only showed us around the property but also shared interesting information about it. the cheese made from their own land was absolutely delicious. It was a quiet and peaceful place, making it the perfect retreat. Cons: No issues whatsoever. 👍.

We had an amazing stay at La Ceibita Tours Guest House in Los Potrerillos. the newly built and spacious room was beautifully designed, and although not fully complete, it didn't take away from our experience. the shared bathroom was conveniently located just a few meters from the room. the comfortable and firm mattress ensured a good night's sleep. We were blown away by the breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and stars from the verandah. the comedor served delicious and plentiful meals. the family who hosted us were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. They even took the time to show us around and teach us about their finca. They helped us organize our tour, accommodation, and meals, and provided us with all the information we needed for bus times to/from the border. Staying here was a truly lucky find!
Nothing that we didn't like. 😊.
